When you are offered help – grab it with both hands!!!  Don’t be proud there are no medals for running yourself into the ground.  Remember, when you see pictures of celebrities with their new babies they look stunning only because they have an army of helpers

Rose is a mum of four and a grandmother who adores being around children, from the tiny babies she gets to meet at work through to her own grown up children.

A midwife for 23 years, Rose is passionate about ensuring that the services she and the team at Lister Hospital provide support women’s choices, especially during this very important time in their life.

Rose also runs a birth options clinic where parents-to-be are invited to come and discuss the care they would like, particularly if this falls outside of what would be considered “normal care” or if there are any questions that need more guidance and options to be acknowledged.

When asked what one piece of advice she would give to any new mum, Rose shares these words of wisdom;

“When you are offered help – grab it with both hands!!!  Don’t be proud there are no medals for running yourself into the ground.  Remember, when you see pictures of celebrities with their new babies they look stunning only because they have an army of helpers”.
