6 Week Social is all about building your village and supporting one another through the unpredictable, beautiful rollercoaster of motherhood.

What makes our mum and baby class Hitchin, Hertford, Harpenden and Berkahmsted truly unique is that from the moment you first reach out, we’re here to guide, support and nurture you through pregnancy and into early motherhood. Our aim is simple: to make sure no mum feels like she has to go through the tough moments alone.

We’re not a franchise driven by rigid rules, targets or tick-box systems. We’re not an organisation with outdated approaches or an inflated price tag. We are mums who have been there, who understand first-hand what it feels like, and who recognise what really matters during this time of huge change: space, time, connection, and support.

Our 6-week journey gives you the opportunity to settle in at your own pace, gradually get to know other local mums, and build confidence week by week. Those regular meet-ups allow friendships to form naturally, without pressure, as you all adjust to your new normal together.

And the support doesn’t stop when the session ends. Many of our groups continue to meet outside of 6 Week Social—whether that’s grabbing a cuppa, trying out new baby groups together, or simply visiting each other for a chat. These simple moments often become the most meaningful.

Each session also features experienced specialists who bring genuine, evidence-based insight and understanding. Their role is to help you feel reassured, informed and confident that the way you’re parenting is the right way for you and your family.

From the moment you join, you’ll also be added to a private online group, giving you the chance to connect with other mums before the course even begins. That early connection often makes a huge difference, helping friendships start before you’ve even met in person.

If you speak to any mum who has taken part in 6 Week Social, you’ll hear the same thing: having a group of women who started this journey together and grew alongside each other has been one of the most valuable parts of their early motherhood experience—and often the start of friendships that last far beyond the six weeks.
