I have always admired Becci’s passion for 6 Week Social and in turn she has been fantastic in supporting my little business by commissioning me to design her business cards and flyers.
Angela is proud mummy to Poppy and Edward! Here she shares a little more about who she is and what she does.
“Before children I use to work in the stationery industry designing mainly Christmas crackers, gift wrap and greeting cards for all the leading high street retailers. Later in my career I specialised in the field of packaging and graphic design, which pressed all the right buttons when it came to be being fiddly about content, layout and the final proof.
After the birth of my first child, I quickly realised that I wanted to have the best of both worlds by working from home while looking after our now two children. So I took a deep scary breath and handed my notice in after maternity leave!
We have since converted the garage in to my little Popsycool Studio (named after my daughter Poppy) and I am lucky enough to be creating and designing bespoke wedding stationery, personalised newborn prints while combining my love for graphic design to help all kinds of local businesses with their business stationery.
We are also the proud owners of two buzzing beehives with plenty of raw local honey for everyone to enjoy!
I met Becci at a network meeting after my second child was born and we have always kept in touch supporting each other while trying to build up our businesses.

Being self-employed can sometimes make you feel a little isolated when you work from home, so when Becci asked if I would like to put my creative juices to work and join her team of specialists in 6 Week Social, I jumped at the chance and as I first thought, I’m loving it!”
During our final week together, Angela focuses on a light-hearted craft activity which mums can enjoy over a cuppa and cake! Having carefully and lovingly created something that is personal and simple enough to do when your baby is either restless or wanting to watch and coo in your arms, this special keepsake will be a treasure for you to have to remind you of your time at 6 Week Social.
